Ann C. Griffin 87, of Dixon, KY passed away on Friday February 12, 2021 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. She was retired from Kenergy as an Account Specialist. She was a member of the Slover Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. She was an avid gardener. She was the daughter of the late Fred Hill and Opal Travis Woodard. She was preceded in death by her 1st husband Oscar L. “Red” Griffin, 2nd husband Everett Oliphant, 1 daughter Patricia Ann Griffin, 1 grandson Matthew Scott Hargis and 1 son in law Charles F. “Herbie” Hargis. Survivors include her 2 daughters Sheri Mitchell(John) of Clay, KY; Cathy Hargis of Naples, FL; 2 stepdaughters Keri Hartwell(Stephen) of Clear Lake, Iowa and Rene Zimmerman(Brian) of Lebanon, PA; 1 son Randy Griffin(Lisa) of Providence, KY; 1 stepson Kevin Oliphant(Wendy) of Los Angeles, CA; 1 sister Janette Burris of Henderson, KY; 15 grandchildren; 22 great grandchildren and 3 nieces. Private Family Services will be held on Friday February 19, 2021 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Tim Martin will officiate. Burial will be in Slover Cemetery in Dixon, KY.
