Bethel Parrish 86, of Dixon, KY passed away on Tuesday August 8, 2017 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. He retired after over 30 years of owning/operating Bethel Parrish Plumbing in Dixon, KY. He was a US Army Korean War Veteran. Survivors include his daughter Venita Curry and husband Rodney of Manitou, KY; 1 son Dennis Parrish and Vanessa Schmitt of Clay, KY; 3 granddaughters Stacey Parrish, Stephanie Parrish and Whitney Shemwell all of Dixon, KY; 2 great grandchildren Landon and Peyton Shemwell; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday August 11, 2017 at 11am at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. David Bumpus will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Thursday and from 8am until service time at the funeral home. Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites at the graveside.
