Betty J. McKinney

Betty J. McKinney, 85, of Madisonville, KY passed away at Baptist Health Deaconess on Tuesday February 11th, 2025. She had worked in the meat department for several years at Sureway East Gate location in Henderson, KY. She had attended Henderson General Baptist Church in Henderson, KY. She was the daughter of the late George and Sara Shelton Stone. Betty was preceded in death by her husband Everett McKinney, a granddaughter Kendra Mclean, and brothers Willie W. "Sonny", Jerry and Kenneth Stone. Survivors include her daughters Glenda(Ken) Mclean of Huntingburg, IN and Donna(Jeff) Goodwin of New Concord, KY; a son Allen(Patricia) McKinney of Henderson, KY; a sister Diana Criss of St. Louis, MO.; a brother Alves Stone of Henderson, KY; 3 grandchildren; 6 great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Betty had caregivers, sister-in-law Audrey Stone and her brother Alves Stone along with 3 great nieces Jessica Austin, Emily Roy and Laura Roy that helped care for her. Funeral services will be held on Saturday February 15th, 2025 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Dan Book will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.
