Betty J. Crider Mooney

Betty Crider Mooney 95, of Dixon, KY passed away at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY on Wednesday June 21^st, 2023. She was a Homemaker and member of Lisman Cumberland Presbyterian Church in Lisman, KY. Betty loved reading and visiting the Webster Co. Library, as a young woman she loved working in some of the local grocery stores in Webster Co. She was the daughter of the late Harlie and Fannie Brown Crider. She was preceded in death by her husband Marlin Mooney, 2 sisters Evadean Brooks and Wanda Stevens and a brother Franklin Crider. Survivors include her 2 daughters Nancy(Clyde) Burnett and Carolyn(Jerry) Burnett both of Dixon, KY; 3 grandchildren Stephanie(Michael) O’Nan, Gary(Katie) Burnett and Kevin(Brandi) Burnett; 6 great grandchildren Caleb O’Nan, Lauren O’Nan, Callie Burnett, Adeline Burnett, Samuel Burnett and Max Burnett and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday June 25th, 2023 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Curtis Franklin will officiate. Burial will be in Lisman Cemetery in Lisman, KY.
