Betty Smith

Betty M. Smith 86, of Dixon, KY passed away on Friday January 8, 2021 at her daughter’s home. She was a waitress at the North/South Truck Stop in Robards, KY for 50 years. She was of the Baptist Faith and a KY Colonel. She was preceded in death by her husband Shirley Smith in 2013, a son-in-law Danny Patmore, and 2 brothers Claudie Wilson and Prentice Gene Wilson. Survivors include her daughter Shirlene Patmore of Dixon, KY; 6 sisters Margie Frasier of Onton, KY; Catherine Miller of Madisonville, KY; Rosetta Hicks of Sebree, KY; Mary Lou Ashby of Slaughters, KY; Lois Ellis of Sebree, KY and Barbara Leachman of Henderson, KY; 2 brothers Larry Wilson and Donald Wilson both of Henderson, KY; 1 grandson Cory Patmore(Lauren); 2 great grandchildren Jordyn Patmore and Trey Patmore. Graveside services will be held on Tuesday January 12, 2021 at 1pm at Old Cedar Grove Cemetery. Rev. Dwayne Wilson will officiate. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S. Green St. Henderson, KY 42420. Due to Covid-19, please wear a mask and social distance at the graveside.
