Bob Dotlich

Bob Dotlich 85, of Calvert City, KY passed away on Saturday December 9, 2017 at Lourdes Hospital in Paducah, KY. He was a retired Electrician having worked 35 years for Inland Steel in East Chicago, IN.  He was a US Navy veteran having served during the Korean War. He was a Purdue University graduate, a member of the NRA, an avid outdoorsman and was of the Baptist faith. He was the son of the late Bob and Anka Dotlich. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Janie Dotlich of Calvert City, KY; 5 daughters Glenda Lewis of Valparaiso, IN; Janie Lazaro of Portage, IN; Jeri Shelton of Calvert City, KY; Cheryl Parker of Norwalk, Ohio and Robin Collins of Evansville, IN; 1 son Bob Dotlich of Tulsa, OK; 1 sister Mary Milanovich of Chicago, IL; 18 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Wednesday December 13, 2017 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Donald Duncan will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 12pm until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home. Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform Military Rites at the graveside.
