Carolyn Herron

Carolyn J. Herron 74 of Dixon, KY passed away at her home on Sunday June 21, 2020. She was a housewife and member of Calvary Life Center Church in Sebree, KY. She was a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Gideon’s. She graduated from Dixon High School in 1963. She was the daughter of the late J.R. and Wilma Burton. She is survived by her husband of 57 years Dan Herron of Dixon, KY; 4 sons Michael Herron(Lee Ann) of New Stanton, PA; Gordon Herron of Owings, Maryland; Kevin Herron(Becky) of Genoa, IL and Duane Herron of Harrodsburg, KY; 1 brother Henry Burton of Nebo, KY; 2 grandchildren Lindsay Herron and Seth Herron and 2 nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 25, 2020 at 11am at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. John McCurry will officiate. Burial will be in Slover Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday and from 8am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Gideon’s International P.O.
