Carolyn Winstead

Carolyn Sue Winstead 75, of Dixon, KY passed away on Sunday November 27th, 2022 at Baptist Health Hospital in Madisonville, KY. She was a Homemaker and loved helping take care of the family farm. She was a member of the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY, where she was the Church Clerk. She loved hunting Deer and Turkey. She also loved cooking and canning foods. She was preceded in death by 2 brothers Jimmie and Rev. Donald Cole. Survivors include her husband of 54 years Mac Winstead of Dixon, KY; her daughter Dr. Laura Winstead of Dixon, KY; 1 brother Dr. Darrell Cole of Indianapolis, IN; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday November 30th, 2022 at 1pm at Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. Rev. Roger Felker and Rev. Jody Hughes will officiate. Burial will be Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be held on Tuesday at Townsend Funeral Home from 5-8pm and then from 11am on Wednesday at the church.
