Corene Farmer

Corene Jackson Farmer 65, of Providence, KY died on Sunday May 20, 2012 at Regional Medical Center in Madisonville, KY. She was a housewife. She was preceded in death by her husband John Robert Farmer in 2003, her twin sister Lorene Householder and a brother William Jackson. Survivors include  two daughters Karen Stone of Providence, KY and Jill Babb of Poole, KY; one brother Ed Jackson of Boxville, KY; three sisters Helen Ann Hinson and Mary Ellen Miller both of Henderson, KY and Loretta Duncan of Tilden, KY; 5 grandchildren and 4 great grand. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday May 23, 2012 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral home in Dixon. Rev. Robert Allen will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Wednesday at the funeral home.  Memorial contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S.
