Danny Lisanby

Danny Elvis Lisanby 74, of Dixon, KY died on Saturday Sept. 10th, 2011 at St. Mary’s Medical Center in Evansville, IN. He had owned and operated along with his brothers Gardner’s Service Station in Dixon, and they operated Gardner’s Sawmill in Dixon. He was a member of Free Union General Baptist Church in Dixon and a US Army Veteran. He is survived by his Mother Ethel Pauline Gardner of Dixon, KY; three brothers Bill Gardner, Jim Gardner and Jesse Gardner all of Dixon, KY; one half brother Morris Lisanby of Madisonville, KY. Funeral services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon on Monday Sept. 12, 2011 at 2pm. Rev. Robert Woodring will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon.
