Danny Patmore

Danny Patmore 61, of Dixon, KY passed away on Wednesday February 22, 2017 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He retired from the Webster County Road Dept. after 15 years of service as a truck driver. He was a member of New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden, KY, where he was the song leader and got ordained as a deacon in 2000.  He loved spending time with his granddaughter Jordyn, he loved riding and showing horses, loved watching UK Basketball, hunting and singing gospel music. He also loved playing Checkers. He was the son of the late Norman Eugene Patmore and Rinda V. Duncan Wilson. He was preceded in death by his step father Carroll Wilson, his grandparents Ray and Jessie Mae Duncan and Teddy and Alice Patmore; his father in law Shirley E. Smith. Survivors include his wife of 44 years Shirlene Smith Patmore of Dixon, KY; 1 son Cory Patmore(Lauren) of Providence, KY; 1 sister Norma Phillips(David) of Dixon, KY; 1 brother Dwayne Wilson(Michelle) of Dixon, KY; his mother in law Betty Smith of Dixon, KY; 1 granddaughter Jordyn Elizabeth Patmore and nieces and great nieces. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Saturday February 25, 2017 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. David Bumpus and Rev. Jacob Bumpus will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY.
