David Majors

David Majors 73, of Dixon, KY passed away at his home on Tuesday June 26, 2018. He was of the Pentecostal Faith, he loved spending time with his family, playing his guitar and loved gardening. He retired from Southern States in Sebree, KY. He was preceded in death by 1 sister Dorothy Jewell and 2 brothers James(Doc) and Edward(Punk) Majors. Survivors include his wife of 49 years Joyce Owens Majors of Dixon, KY; 3 daughters Tammy Wilson and Anita Majors both of Dixon, KY; Marlene Deno(David) of Robards, KY; 5 sisters Sue Love of Slaughters, KY; Marie Love of Madisonville, KY; Betty Pyle of Crofton, KY; Linda Orrick of Henderson, KY and Wanda Springfield of Henderson, KY; 3 grandchildren Michael Robinson and Jason Wilson both of Dixon, KY and Patricia Crawford of Henderson, KY; 1 great grandchild Levi Crawford; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY on Saturday June 30, 2018 at 2PM. Rev. Thornton Stanley, Bro. John Eaton and Bro. Brad Nolan will officiate. Burial will be in Springdale Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Friday and from 8am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
