David Taylor

David L. Taylor 78, of Providence, KY passed away at Baptist Health on Friday August 13, 2021. He was retired from Dotiki Mines after 44 years of service as a coal miner. David was an US Air Force Veteran serving in the Military Police. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church in Providence, KY. He loved his family, his children, grandkids and great grand kids. He was the son of the late George and Francis Taylor. Survivors include his wife of 54 years Dale Taylor of Providence, KY; 2 daughters Tonya Fischer(Joe) of New Albany, IN and Kim Tinsley(Paul) of Princeton, KY; 1 brother James Robert Taylor of Providence, KY; 5 grandchildren Shelby Turner(Jeremy) of Manitou, KY, Hunter May(Hannah) of Providence, KY, Sydney Kalkbrenner(James) of New Albany, IN, John Tinsley and Kaydinz Tinsley; 6 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Monday August 16, 2021 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Chaplain Diane Oakley will officiate. Burial will be in Green Grove Cemetery in Providence, KY.
