Donald Ray Harmon Sr. 72, of Sebree, KY passed away at Redbanks Nursing Home in Henderson, KY on Tuesday November 29th, 2022. He retired from Alcan after 43 years of service. He loved mechanic work, especially working on his lawnmowers and vehicles. He loved spending time with his family and grandchildren, he also loved collecting old coins. He was the son of the late Frank and Dorothy Harmon. He was preceded in death by 2 sisters Sheila and Martha Harmon, a brother Gene Harmon and a sister in law Mary Ann Harmon. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Shirley Mae Koonce Harmon of Sebree, KY; 1 daughter Vicky(Craig) Sheets of Henderson, KY; 1 son Donnie Ray Harmon Jr. of Sebree, KY; 2 sisters Carolyn(Tony) Burris of Dixon, KY and Judy(Benji) O’Nan of Robards, KY; 2 brothers Jimmy Harmon and David Harmon both of Henderson, KY; 3 grandchildren Jessica Sheets, Sydney Harmon and Emma Harmon; 1 great grandchild Reece Harmon and several nieces and nephews. A gathering of family and friends will take place at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY on Saturday December 3rd, 2022 from 11am until 2pm.
