Donald Ray “Don” McGrew 75, of Dixon, KY died on Friday April 19, 2013 at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. He was a retired Truck Driver and a US Army Veteran. He was a member of the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He loved his Classic Antique Cars, he started the Dixon Lion’s Club Car Show that lasted 12 years. He also loved woodworking and fishing. He was a member of the Classic Cruisers Car Club. Survivors include his wife of 48 years Reva Jean McGrew of Dixon, KY; 3 daughters Tammie Rice of Corydon, KY; Patricia Marshall of Crestwood, KY; Terri McGrew of Indianapolis, IN; 1 stepdaughter Durene Winstead of Dixon, KY; 3 sons Larry McGrew of Batesville, Arkansas; Bryan McGrew and Donnie McGrew both of Kansas City, Kansas; 1 step son Teddy Bunton of Dixon, KY; 20 grandchildren, 6 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon on Tuesday April 23, 2013 at 1PM. Rev. Roger Felker will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8 on Monday and from 8am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home.Military services will be held graveside by the American Legion Worsham Post #40 of Henderson, KY.
