Earl Wesley Turner 67, of Clay, KY died on January 7, 2012 at his home. He was retired Coalminer from Pyro Mines. He was a lifelong member of Grace Baptist Church in Clay where he served as a Deacon. He had also served on the Clay City Council and was a Ky Colonel. He was preceded in death by his wife Brenda who died in 2003. Survivors include two daughters Pam Davenport of Dixon, KY and Kim Byrum of Clay, KY; one sister Mary Turner of Dixon, KY; 4 grandchildren and 2 great grandchildren; nieces and nephews. Services will be held on Wednesday at 2pm at the Grace Baptist Church in Clay. Rev. Larry Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Clay. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday at Grace Baptist Church in Clay, KY and from 8am until service time at the church on Wednesday. Memorial contributions can be made to Grace Baptist Church 131 Grove Street Clay, KY 42404.
