Eugene Goad

Eugene A. Goad 83, of Dixon, KY passed away at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY on Saturday September 1, 2018. He was a retired construction worker for the Evansville Local Labor Union #561. He was a member of the Dixon General Baptist Church in Dixon, KY and a US Navy Veteran. He was the son of the late Walter Lee and Daisy Taylor Goad. Survivors include his wife of 59 years Wanda Goad of Dixon, KY; 1 daughter Anita Catlin (Tim) of Sebree, KY; 3 sons Bruce Goad of Dixon, KY; Eric Goad (Dawn) of Dayton, Ohio and Jeff Goad of Dixon, KY; 3 grandchildren James A. Catlin, Jayleigh Tooley and Jenni Thompson; 10 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home at 2pm on Tuesday September 4, 2018. Rev. John Brumfiel and Rev. Harry Baldwin will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Monday and from 8am until service time on Tuesday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice 2410 S.
