Eugene Payne

Eugene Payne 45, of Dixon, KY passed away Monday August 30, 2021. He was a member of Grove Center Faith Chapel in Morganfield, KY. He recently was named the CGMA Male New Artist of the Year, he loved singing for the Lord. Survivors include his wife Melanie Payne of Dixon, KY; 2 daughters Kelsey Payne of Metropolis, Illinois and Alyssa Payne of Evansville, Indiana; 1 grandchild Brelynn Latrise Jackson of Evansville, Indiana; his parents Melvin and Ruth Payne of Madisonville, KY; 1 brother Michael Ray Payne of Princeton, KY; 2 sisters Carmen Whitledge of Henderson, KY and Jill Spears of Terre Haute, Indiana; and many nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Thursday September 2, 2021 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Billy McKendree and Bro. Brian West will officiate. Burial will be in Townsend Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8 on Wednesday September 1, 2021 and from 8am till service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
