Evadine Towe Villines 100, born on May 22, 1916 of Dixon, KY passed away at NHC Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY on Saturday August 6, 2016. Evadean retired from Webster County School System after 29 years of service. She was one of the first teachers who was involved in segregation in Webster County. After her retirement she enjoyed working in her flower garden and shared her bouquets with her neighbors. She also loved studying her Bible and sharing God’s word with others. She attended Fairview Church of Christ and Providence Church of Christ. She was preceded in death by her husband Robert Clay Villines, 2 sisters Geraldine Thomas and Alice Wigginton, and a great grandson Joey Watson. She is survived by 2 sons Roger Villines (Sandra) of Waynesboro, TN and Barry Villines (Pat) of Madisonville, KY; 4 grandchildren D.D. (James) Willoughby of Dixon, KY Tonya Watson of Dixon, KY, Christie (Perry) Turner of TN, and Terry Villines of California; 3 great grandchildren Brittnie Hopper, Trent Willoughby, Kellen Watson; 3 great great grandchildren Kaylee Hopper, Ella Nance and Ezra Ellison. Funeral services will be held on Monday August 8, 2016 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Roger Villines and Min. Chip Palmer and Bro. Billy Parrish will officiate. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
