Evelynn Whitledge

Evelynn Marie Whitledge 80, of Evansville, IN passed away on Friday March 25, 2022 at the Linda E. White Hospice House in Evansville, IN. She was a homemaker and had worked at Kent Plastics in Evansville, IN. She was a member of the New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden, KY. She loved helping take care of her grandson Robert Wayne Whitledge Jr. She was a member of the No-Ruz Grotto in Evansville, she loved working puzzles, baking cakes and making Sequin Calendars. She was a loving mother and grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Stargle and Martha Duncan. She was preceded in death by a grandson Robert Wayne Whitledge Jr. Survivors include her daughter Donna Marie Whitledge of Evansville, IN; 2 sons Kenneth Ray Whitledge Jr. (Jamie) of Evansville, IN and Robert Wayne “Bobby” Whitledge Sr.(Sandy) of Dixon, KY; 1 sister Luanne Vincent(Danny) of Dixon, KY; 1 brother William “Billy” Duncan (Sue) of Dixon, KY; 5 grandchildren James Whitledge, Steven Whitledge, Zach Whitledge, Brooke Whitledge and Trevor Whitledge; 2 great grandchildren Hadley Whitledge and Creed Whitledge; 1 niece and 4 nephews David Duncan, Michael Duncan, Matthew Vincent, Melanie Denton and Joshua Vincent. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Thursday March 31, 2022 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Eugene Walters and Rev. Dwayne Wilson will officiate. Burial will be in Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, KY. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
