Gene Hurley Crowley 78, of Providence, KY, formerly of Dixon, KY died Saturday morning at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. He was retired as a Iron Worker from the Local Iron Workers Union # 103 in Evansville, IN. He was a member of the Pleasant Valley Miss. Baptist Church in Providence, KY, he also was a member of the Poole Masonic Lodge #604, and a 32nd degree Mason. He owned Custom Cabinet and Woodcraft for many years. He was preceded in death by his wife Shirley Crowley and a son Duane Thomas. Survivors include his wife of 13 years Betty Dills Crowley of Providence, KY; 2 daughters Ronda Stone and her husband Bob of Evansville, IN; Lois Melton and her husband John II of Poole, KY; 1 son Jeffry Crowley and his wife Jane of Evansville, IN; 2 stepsons Roger Dills and his wife Bhavna of Evansville, IN and Jason Dills and his wife Angie of Henderson, KY; 15 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. Funeral services will be held on Monday May 27, 2013 at 11AM at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Johnnie Davis will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be from 2-8pm on Sunday at the funeral home, where a Masonic service will be at 7pm, and visitation from 8am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
