Gloria Dean Stone

Gloria Dean Stone 80, of Henderson, KY passed away on Friday October 18th, 2024 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY. She was a lifelong member and Sunday School Teacher at the Henderson Church of Christ in Henderson, KY. Gloria owned and operated Johnson’s Tax Service and co-owned D&G Towing and Trucking Service in Henderson, KY. She loved seamstress work, painting, crafts, gardening, canning and traveling. She was the daughter of the late Percy “Pete” and Nancy Catherine Lee Jenkins. She was preceded in death by her husband after 60 years of marriage Donald J. Stone and a sister Shirley D. Sauer. Survivors include her daughters, Sheri(Juan) Nunez and Michelle(Mark) Springer both of Henderson, KY; 1 step-daughter Terry(Rick) Firmand of Indianapolis, IN; a sister Beverly Kay Wyrick of Louisville, KY; 5 grandchildren Kristen Bloodworth, Lauren Wood, Sam Springer, Jake Springer and Jon Nunez; 3 great-grandchildren Caroline Wood, Sloan Bloodworth and Libby Wood and nieces and nephews. Graveside services will be held at 1pm on Sunday October 20th, 2024 at Boxville-David Rest Cemetery in Boxville, KY. Juan Nunez and Mark Springer will officiate.
