Goldie Langston Brown

Goldie Mae Langston Brown 86, of Urbana, OH formerly of Dixon, KY passed away on Monday February 1, 2021 at Vancrest of Urbana Assisted Living Facility in Urbana, OH. She was retired from Big Rivers Maintenance department after 15 years of service. She was the daughter of the late Arthur McDonald and Lorene Edwards. She was preceded in death by 2 husbands Tommy Langston in 1973, and Guy Brown in 2001, 1 daughter Teresa Langston in 1973, and 2 sons Kevin Langston in 1973 and Tommy Duane Langston in 2020. Survivors include 3 daughters Brenda White(Terry)of Providence, KY, Susie Hogan(Roger) of Gainesville, GA and Beverly Reisinger(Tim) of Cable, OH; 2 sisters Loretta Beach of Wheatcroft, KY and Patricia Young of Eddyville, KY; 1 brother Arthur Lee Edwards(Mona) of Owensboro, KY; 13 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; 2 great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Friday February 5, 2021 at 11am at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Mike Keller will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Friday at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 please wear a mask and social distance at the funeral home and cemetery.
