James L. Mitchell Jr. 75, of Henderson, KY passed away on August 23, 2018 at Transcendent Healthcare in Boonville, IN. He had worked at Collector’s Gallery in Henderson, KY. He was preceded in death by 2 daughters Rebecca Mitchell and Ingrid Bostleman, and 1 sister Phyllis Smith. Survivors include his wife of 23 years Betty Ann Mitchell of Henderson, KY; 3 sons James Mitchell III and Keith Mitchell both of Henderson, KY and Kevin Mitchell of Dixon, KY; 1 sister Rhonda Calhoun of Henderson, KY; 5 grandchildren; 2 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held Saturday September 1, 2018 at 10am at Henderson First Baptist Church in Henderson, KY. Rev. Todd Linn will officiate. Friends may visit from 9am until service time at the church. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon is in charge of the arrangements.
