James E. Nally Sr., 81, of Dixon, KY passed away on February 6th, 2025 at Redbank’s Nursing Home in Henderson, KY. James was a Logger for over 35 years, he also was a Truckdriver for many years. He loved fishing, watching wrestling, UK Basketball, old western shows, and listening to Charley Pride music. James enjoyed working on his vehicles and spending time with his grandchildren. He was the son of the late James Eleven and Mildred Hargrove Nally. He was preceded in death by his wife Loretta Sue Nally, 1 daughter Donna Faye Nally, 3 sisters and 2 brothers. Survivors include his 4 daughters Virginia Rosann Nally of Marion, KY; Janice Fay Nelson of Hanson, KY; Kathy Jo Nally of Vine Grove, KY and Mary Beth Mayes of Dixon, KY; his son James Nally Jr. of Dixon, KY; a brother Parvin Nally of Dixon, KY; 9 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Monday February 10th, 2025 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. John Brumfiel will officiate. Burial will be in Uniontown Cemetery in Uniontown, KY. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Monday at the funeral home. Online condolences can be made at www.townsendfuneralhomeinc.com
