James Henry Wallace 99, of Clay, KY passed away at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY on Wednesday April 26, 2017. He was a Farmer and WWII Army Veteran, having served during the European Theatre. He and his wife Edith Fay owned Wallace’s Refrigeration and Appliances in Providence, KY in the 1950’s. He was a member of the Fairview Church of Christ in Dixon, KY. He was preceded in death by his wife Edith Fay Wallace and two children Brenda Fay Wallace and Winston Wayne Wallace. Survivors include one daughter Gloria Jean Mahan of Evansville, IN and one son John Wallace of Clay, KY; 5 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Sunday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Min. Gary Puryear and Min. Bill Williams will officiate. Burial will be in Lisman Cemetery in Lisman, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time at the funeral home on Sunday. Memorial contributions can be made to the Fairview Church of Christ Cemetery fund c/o Earl Brown 2007 Lisman-Mt.
