James B. “Jim” Wedding 82, of Dixon, KY passed away on Thursday April 11th, 2024 at Baptist Health Deaconess in Madisonville, KY. He attended Union Hill General Baptist Church in Little Dixie, KY. He retired from Texas Gas after 30 years of service. Jim enjoyed playing cards, spending time with his family and traveling. He was an avid UK Fan. Jim loved calling family members and wishing them a Happy Birthday. He was the son of the late Louis P. and Oma Hagan Wedding. He was preceded in death by a son Brian Wedding, 3 sisters Sue Sapp, Mary Howard, and Ramonda Calhoun and 3 brothers Pat, Charlie and Paul Wedding. Survivors include his wife of 33 years Judy Moore Wedding of Dixon, KY; a daughter Karen(Chris) Early of Owensboro, KY; 2 sons Mark Wedding of Falls of Rough, KY and John Wedding of Louisville, KY; 2 step-sons Gary(Tiffany) Tapp of Dixon, KY and Brad(Heather) Tapp of Poole, KY; 13 grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 2pm on Saturday April 13th, 2024 at Townsend Funeral home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Gary Ashby will officiate. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Saturday at the funeral home.
