James "Doc" Sutton Jr.

James “Doc” Sutton Jr. 67, of LaGrange, Ky. formerly of Dixon, Ky passed away Thursday February 9th, 2017 at Baptist Hospital in LaGrange, Ky. He was of Pentecostal Faith and was a member of Christ Corner Church in Henderson, Ky. He was a farmer who had worked for Chandler Farms in Dixon, Ky. He is the son of the late James Will and Mary Lou Fritts Sutton. He is survived by a daughter Racheal Townsend of Henderson, Ky. Five brothers; Carl Sutton of Fairfield, Illinois, William Sutton of Drakesboro, Ky, Albert and Strother Sutton both of Henderson, Ky., and Elmer Sutton of Dixon, Ky., Three sisters; Judy Holmes of Dixon, Ky., Alva Floyd and Diane Welden both of Henderson, Ky. Four grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Services will be 1 PM Tuesday February 14, 2017 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, Ky. Visitation will be from 4PM-8PM Monday February 13, 2017 at the funeral home, Rev. Steve Stone will officiate with burial at Old Cedar Grove Cemetery in Tilden, Ky.
