Jerry D. Nally Sr.

Jerry D. Nally Sr. 64, of Dixon, KY passed away on February 29th, 2024 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was a member of the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. He was a truckdriver for 35 years, he had driven for several local trucking companies hauling coal, grain and logs, Jerry was known by his trucking handle of “Tenspeed”. He also loved pulling ponies. He was the son of the late James Eleven and Mildred Hargrove Nally. He was preceded in death by 3 sisters Betty Chandler, Anna Mae Jones and Mildred Roberta Smith and one grandson Kizer Dwayne Walker. Survivors include his wife of 46 years Cathy Nally of Dixon, KY; 4 daughters Misty Hancock of Providence, KY; Leslie Walker of Evansville, IN; Kathy Jones of Providence, KY and Jamie Nally of Dixon, KY; a son Jerry “Bubba” Nally of Dixon, KY; 2 brothers James and Parvin Nally both of Dixon, KY; 15 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be on Monday March 4th, 2024 at 1pm. Pastor Larry Holt will officiate. Burial will be in Uniontown Cemetery in Uniontown, KY.
