John Koonce

John Owen Koonce 73, of Vincennes, IN formerly of Henderson, KY passed away on February 28, 2020 at Bridgepointe Health Campus in Vincennes, IN. He was a retired Radio Tower Technician. He was the son of the late Raymond Maurice Koonce Sr. and Epsia Lou Gooch Billman. He was preceded in death by a brother Raymond Maurice Koonce Jr. Survivors include his 2 daughters Belinda Maag of California and Ashley Koonce Stone of Vincennes, IN; 1 son Johnny Koonce of California; 3 sisters Priscilla Alexander of Henderson, KY; Judy Ann Williams of Providence, KY and Marsha Powell of Henderson, KY; 1 brother Tony Koonce of Sebree, KY; several grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and cousins. Memorial services will be held at a later date at New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church in Tilden, KY. Bro. Dwayne Wilson will officiate the service. There will be no services at the funeral home. A niece Michelle Wilson and brother Tony Koonce were left with the rights to make final arrangements. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY is handling the arrangements.
