Johnny Daniel

Johnny Mack Daniel 72, of Poole, KY passed away on Saturday September 24, 2022. He was a member of First Christian Church in Sebree, KY, owner of Daniel Builders where he taught several people to be carpenters over the years, worked in oil fields and tobacco early on in his life. Loved spending time with his family and especially his grandchildren. He enjoyed watching M*A*S*H., western movies and loved his Farmall tractors, raising a garden, cutting firewood and his dog Tootsie. He was preceded in death by 2 brothers Billy and Robert and 1 sister Virginia and his sidekick Jazzy. Survived by his wife of 50 years Kay Daniel of Poole, KY; 1 son Johnny Ray (Layna) Daniel of Panama City Beach, FL; 1 daughter Nichole Daniel of Poole, KY; 4 brothers Tommy Daniel of Dixon, KY Richard and Chris Daniel of Robards, KY and Jeff Daniel of Poole, KY; 1 sister Sarah Zieman of Henderson, KY; 4 grandsons Gage, Logan, Buddy Mack and Zander; 1 granddaughter Scarlet Raye; several nieces and nephews with one special nephew Thomas Zieman. Funeral service will be 2pm Tuesday September 27, 2022 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Bro. Jeff Hesley will officiate. Visitation will be 10am till service time Tuesday at the funeral home.  Hopkins County Honor Guard will perform military rights following the funeral.
