Joy Lynn Bryant Hamby 67, of Providence, KY passed away at her home on Friday September 4, 2020. She was a housewife and loved spending time with her grandkids. She was a member of the Victory Baptist Church in Providence, KY. She is the daughter of the late J.W. and Lucy Bryant. She was preceded in death by a brother Marshall Bryant. Survivors include her husband of 41 years Phillip “Woody” Hamby of Providence, KY; 1 daughter Jeri Lyn Hamby(Steve) of Providence, KY; 1 son Michael May(Angie) of Providence, KY; 5 grandchildren Jessica Miller, Tori May, Luke May, Hannah Smith and Briley Sawyer; 1 great grandson Ty Miller and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday September 6th, 2020 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Noble Cobb will officiate. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Providence, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Sunday at the funeral home. Due to Covid-19 restrictions mask must be worn and must practice social distancing while at the funeral home.
