June Brown

June Brown 86, of Dixon, KY passed away on Sunday July 31, 2016 at Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. She was retired from Carhartt and was also a housewife. She loved quilting and crocheting.  She was a member of Pleasant Valley Missionary Baptist Church in Providence, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband of 26 years Homer Squire Brown, 2 step children Homer Jr. Brown and Barbara Schoenheit. Survivors include her 3 daughters Nancy Brown of Henderson, KY; Jennifer Hart of Louisville, KY and Ruthie Winebarger(Ron) of Providence, KY; 5 sons Rick Main(Linda) of Dixon, KY; Homer(Buster) Main(Patti) of Clay, KY; Chris Brown(Nancy); Robert Brown(Donna); and Joe Brown(Carmen) all of Dixon, KY; 1 step son Gary Brown(Kathy) of Louisville, KY; 26 grandchildren; 37 Great grandchildren; 3 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 11am on Wednesday August 3, 2016 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Johnny Davis and Bro. Homer Main will officiate. Burial will be in Slover Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Tuesday at the funeral home and from 8am until service time on Wednesday.
