Linda Faye Major 77, of Slaughters, KY passed away at her home on Tuesday October 22, 2019. She was a housewife and a member of the Slaughters United Methodist Church in Slaughters, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Wayne Major and 1 son Kevin Major. Survivors include 1 daughter Stacy Rose(Mike) of Manitou, KY; 2 sons Greg Ford(Debra) of Clay, KY and Ricky Major(Kim) of Slaughters, KY; 1 sister Sue Culbreath(Dan) of Concord, NC; 1 brother Dale Williams(Jane) of Lisman, KY; 9 grandchildren Hunter Ford, Hailey Ford, Hilary Ford, Samantha Tabor, Morgan White, Blake Major, David Rose, Amber Goff and Madison Melton; 8 great grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Sunday October 27, 2019 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Josh Tharp will officiate. Burial will be in Slaughters Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Saturday and from 8am until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
