Lyndall Ray Wells 65, of Slaughters, KY passed away at his home on Tuesday January 14th, 2025. He was a Truck Driver for many years. Lyndall was the former Assistant Fire Chief at the Slaughters Volunteer Fire Department. He loved motorcycles, horses, dogs, fishing, his cowboy hat and anything Western or Native American. He missed truck driving and farming. He was the son of the late James and Marcella Poole Wells. Lyndall was preceded in death by a brother Jimmy Wells and a granddaughter Alaina Guthrie. Survivors include his wife Linda Wells of Slaughters, KY; a daughter Hollie(Jamie) Guthrie of Uniontown, KY; a son Clint Wells of Slaughters, KY; a brother Kenneth(Sherry) Wells of Slaughters, KY; 3 grandchildren Casey, Emma and Addie Wells; a niece Joni(Scott) Richmond and their children Morgan and Mason; and many more nieces and nephews on his wife’s side of the family. Funeral services will be held on Sunday January 19th, 2025 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Min. Chip Palmer will officiate. Burial will follow in Easter Lilly Family Cemetery in Slaughters, KY. Visitation will be from 10am until service time on Sunday at the funeral home.
