Lynn Winstead

Lynn Capshaw Winstead 86, of Dixon, KY passed away at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY on Wednesday Nov 2, 2016. She was the former owner of the City Café in Dixon for many years, she also retired from Townsend’s Grocery as a cashier. She was a past member of the Woman’s B P & W Club in Dixon, KY, and also a 25 year member of the Dixon Eastern Star. She attended the Dixon General Baptist Church in Dixon, KY. She was preceded in death by her husband Kenneth Ray Winstead and 2 sons Danny Ray Winstead and Gary Joe Winstead. Survivors include her daughter Marsha Gail Jenkins and her husband David of Dixon, KY; 3 sisters Ruth Owen of Elizabethtown, KY; Carolyn Broussard of Nashville, TN and Wanda Cartwright of Owensboro, KY; 3 grandchildren Candice Winstead, Lana Jenkins and John Ross Jenkins; several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Saturday Nov 5, 2016 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Ron Hampton will officiate. Burial will be in Beulah Cemetery.
