Margaret Woodard

Margaret J. Woodard 90, of Dixon, KY passed away at her home on Saturday January 25, 2020. She retired from GE after 21 years of service. She attended Providence General Baptist Church in Providence, KY. She was a lifetime member of the Womens Auxiliary at VFW Post #5484 in Providence, KY, was a KY Colonel and past member of the Dixon Lion’s Club. She also served on the Poole Harvest Daze Committee for 10 years. She was preceded in death by her parents Herman and Emma Marks, her husband Wayne Woodard, 2 sisters Lee Ora Yates and Evelyn Gatlin and 3 brothers Durwood, Marion and Warren Marks. Survivors include 1 son Alan Woodard(Judy) of Dixon, KY; 1 granddaughter Shelley Freeman, 2 step grandchildren Bryan Baumann and Tina Mays; 2 great grandchildren Olivia Devore and Taylor Zachary, 7 step great grandchildren; 1 great-great grandchild Rory Grace Zachary. Graveside services will be held on Thursday at 11AM at Mt. Lebanon Church Cemetery in Sebree, KY. Rev. Barry Cullen and Rev. Doug Stallins will officiate.
