Mary Ellen Asher

Mary Ellen Asher 96 of Poole, KY passed away Friday September 20, 2024. She was an 80 year member of Cairo United Methodist Church in Cairo, KY where she participated in many church activities. She was a loving mother, grandmother, great grandmother and great- great grandmother. She was the daughter of the late Sterling and Anabel Sights where she was 1 of 13 children. Preceded in death by her husband T. A. Asher and 10 siblings. Survivors include 2 daughters Charlotte Parker and her companion Roger Freeman of Kingsberry, TX and Tammy (Doug) Morse of Poole, KY; 1 son Billy Wayne (Mary) Asher of Poole, KY; 2 sisters Gayle McCormick of Henderson, KY and Linda Tucker of Wellington, CO; 5 grandchildren David (Sarah) Asher, Donna Bruner (Daniel Tapp), Bryan (Dee) Branson, Shelly (Susan) Branson, Chelsea (Matt) Farmer; 8 great grandchildren Darby Asher, Alli Asher, Alvie Asher, Dakota Matheny, Paige (Bryce) Villines, McKenna Branson , Erica Noffsinger and Sterling J. Farmer; 2 great-great grandchildren Paisley Matheny and Miller J. Villines; multiple cousins; several nieces and nephews. Services will be held at a later date.
