Mayme Carolyn Peyton 72, of Dixon, KY passed away at Ridgewood Terrace Nursing Home in Madisonville, KY on Sunday June 24, 2018. She was a retired Hairdresser, and a member of the Church of Christ in Madisonville, KY. She loved spending time with her grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Campbell and Evelyn Jenkins. Survivors include her daughter Tammy McGregor(Matt) of Nortonville, KY; 1 son Stephen “Pete” Peyton of Owensboro, KY; 1 sister Frankie Corine Hill of Tampa, FL; 1 brother David Jenkins of Dixon, KY; 3 grandchildren Madison and Sophie McGregor and Presley Peyton; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday June 28, 2018 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Min. Russell Kline will officiate. Burial will be in Mt. Carmel Cemetery in White Plains, KY. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Wednesday and from 8am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home.
