Melba Clark

Melba Brogan Clark 96, of Dixon, KY passed away at her home with family by her side on Sunday July 24th, 2022. Melba Clark was born on November 26th, 1925 to Iley and Elmer Brogan. She was the youngest of her siblings, Winfred, Rena Mae and Veda. She grew up going to Free Union General Baptist Church. On December 9th, 1944 she married the love of her life C. B. Clark Jr. They had two children Teresa and Duane. Melba loved her home and family. She loved to cook and her family believed her fried chicken and chocolate pie was the best in the world. She is a member of Henderson General Baptist Church. Melba is survived by her children Teresa Clark Hibbs of Dixon, KY and Duane Clark of Dixon, KY; her grandchildren Kristi(David) Daniel; Kati(Brad) Griffin; Mark(Katie) Hibbs; Megan Clark Gray and Sarah(Brandon) Jones; great grandchildren Kaitlyn(Brandyn) Greenwell; Mikala(T.J.) Puckett; Ben(Jalyn) Puckett; Bradley(Mariana) Puckett; Michael(Megan) Griffin; Laura Jo Griffin; Owen and Olivia McMahon; Cameron Hibbs; Avery and River Gray; Ava Brown and August Jones great-great grandchildren Carstyn Greenwell, Josie Puckett, McKinlee and Kannon Puckett, Clay and Kennedy Griffin and Aleigha and Jeremiah Griffin; nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 28th, 2022 at 11am at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Gary Wayne Clark will officiate. Burial will be in Oak Grove Cemetery in Dixon, KY. Visitation will be from 4-8pm on Wednesday and from 8am until service time on Thursday at the funeral home. Pallbearers will be Mark Hibbs, David Daniel, Brad Griffin, Ben Puckett, Bradley Puckett, T.J. Puckett, Brandyn Greenwell and Michael Griffin. Memorial contributions can be made to Baker Park P.O.
