Norris K. “Hobo Mickey” Townsend 78, of Madisonville, KY passed away at Continue Care in Madisonville, KY on Friday November 30, 2018. He was a member of the Park Avenue Baptist Church in Madisonville, KY. He was the owner of North and South Hobo Mickey’s Pizza House’s in Madisonville, KY, he also had worked at Peabody Camp #11 and Dotiki Mines, along with being the former owner of Townsend Funeral Home in Providence, KY. Survivors include his wife of 40 years Carolyn Townsend of Madisonville, KY; 1 daughter Kelley Harvey(David) of Clay, KY; 1 son Robby Townsend(Lucinda) of Clay, KY; 1 step daughter Kim Oakley(Jeff) of Madisonville, KY; 2 step sons Dwight Adcock(Pam) of Madisonville, KY and Jeff Adcock(Lisa) of St. Louis, MO; 1 sister Lanna Vincent of Madisonville, KY; 14 grandchildren, 23 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be at 1pm on Monday at Park Avenue Baptist Church 132 Park Ave. Madisonville, KY. Bro. Len Young will officiate. Burial will be in Oddfellows Cemetery in Madisonville, KY. Visitation will be from 3-8pm on Sunday at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY and then Monday from 11am until service time at the church.
