Patsy Brunson

Patsy Faye Brunson 68 of Providence, KY received her reward on April 20, 2019 at Deaconess Hospital in Evansville, IN. She was born May 31, 1950 in Hopkins Co. KY to the late Elbert and Lillie Belle Mohon Brunson. She was a member of the Praise Temple Apostolic Church in Madisonville, KY. She loved her husband Bill with all her heart, she was proud of her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren and was always talking about them wherever she went. She always was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone and her home was always open. She was preceded in death by a granddaughter Jessica Martin. Survivors include her husband of 39 years William “Bill” Martin of Providence, KY; 2 daughters Carrie Herrera(Mark) of Providence, KY and Rebecca Frias(Rev. Matt) of Madisonville, KY; 1 son Robbie Shelton(April) of Blackford, KY; 1 step son William Martin Jr. of Michigan; 2 sisters Maryann Woodruff and Susan Scott both of St. Charles, KY; 4 brothers Franklin Brunson(Patricia) of St. Charles, KY; Rev. Stephen Brunson(Linda Kaye) of Georgetown, TX; William Brunson of Providence, KY and Roger Dale Brunson(Tara) of Florence, TX; 10 grandchildren Beth Ann Watson, Robert Shelton Jr.(Tryphena Osborne), Miranda Barnett(Rev. Linn), Isaac Frias(Kenya), Kelsey Mongosa(Levi), Damien Belt, William Martin III, Mariah Herrera(Jackie Pryor), Kensey Shelton(Wes Willoughby), and Gabriella Shelton; 9 great grandchildren Lauren Kim(Young Hwan), Aiden Shelton, Luke Barnett, Jase Frias, Matthew Belt, Kayden Pryor, Elijah Mongosa, Kiley Frias and Danielle Barnett; several nieces and nephews including one special nephew William ”Billy” Lowe and three sisters by heart Rosemary Joules, Faye Smith and Nancy Kaye Kent. Funeral services will be held at 1pm on Tuesday April 23, 2019 at the Praise Temple Apostolic Church 725 W. Noel Ave Madisonville, KY. Pastor Philip Cook, Rev. Matthew Frias, Rev. Linn Barnett and Rev. Stephen Brunson will officiate. Burial will be in Lake Grove Cemetery in St. Charles, KY. Friends may visit at the church on Tuesday from 10am until service time.
