Patsy Saalwaechter

Patsy Saalwaechter, 66, of Poole, KY, died on Saturday, February 11, 2012 at Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY.  She worked as a custodian at North Middle School in Henderson, KY for 11 years and was a KY colonel. She was a member of Shady Grove General Baptist Church in Poole, KY. She is daughter of the late William Joseph and Rosa Belle Reinhardt.  She was preceded in death by one brother, Robert Lee Reinhardt. She is survived by her husband of 48 years, Sam Saalwaechter of Poole, KY, two sons, Bill Saalwaechter and wife Monique of Dixon, KY and Scott Saalwaechter and wife Kim of Slaughters, KY, one daughter, Shannon Grass and husband, Todd of Henderson, KY, one brother, Frank Reinhardt of Alto, GA and one sister, Margaret “Tootsie” Thompson of Henderson, KY, many nieces and nephews, and 6 grandchildren, Taylor, Henry, Hannah Rose, Isabel, Gabi, and Karson.

Funeral services will be held at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY at 1 pm on Monday. Rev. Dean Esarey and Rev. Steve Dame will officiate. Burial will be in the Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY. Visitation will be on Sunday from 2-8pm and from 8am until service time on Monday at the funeral home. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to St. Anthony’s Hospice, 2410 South Green St, Henderson, KY, 42420.
