Samuel Otis "Pepper" Carnahan Jr. 66, of Henderson, KY passed away on Friday July 21st, 2023 at Deaconess Methodist Hospital in Henderson, KY. He was a coal miner for over 40 years, having worked at several of the local mines. He loved Martial Arts and Hunting. He was preceded in death by the mother of his son Elijah, Cherie Huckeby, a brother in law John McPherson, and 2 sisters Brenda Garrett and Betty Neighbors. Survivors include his son Elijah Carnahan of Henderson, KY; 4 sisters Glenda(Mike) Brooks Moseley of Clay, KY; Donna McPherson, Rosetta Conway and Tina West all of Evansville, IN; nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Thursday July 27th, 2023 at 2pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. David Himmelheber will officiate. Burial will be in Shady Grove Cemetery in Poole, KY.
