Talmon “Tab” Sleyster 47, of Slaughters, KY passed away on Friday August 7, 2020 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, TN. He worked as an Automotive Technician for several years. He loved hunting, fishing, camping, and woodworking. He loved his guns, and his dogs, he also loved his cars. Tab was a loving father, son and brother. He was preceded in death by his dad Lee Sleyster, and 1 half-brother Michael Sleyster. Survivors include his son Shane Sleyster of Nashville, TN; 1 step-son Dustin Barnett of Dawson Springs, KY; his mother Michelle Goodwin of Slaughters, KY; 1 sister Shelley Stringer(Brian) of Slaughters, KY; 1 half-sister Elaine Moll of Perryville, Missouri; 2 brothers Dale Sleyster and Alan Sleyster both of Perryville, Missouri and several nieces and nephews. Memorial services will be held at 5pm on Saturday August 22nd, 2020 at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Rev. Kerry Smith will officiate. Visitation will be Saturday August 22nd from 2pm until service time at the funeral home. Memorial contributions can be made to the Talmon Sleyster Memorial Fund c/o Townsend Funeral Home P.O.
