Vernese Wilson

Vernese L. Wilson 90, of Providence, KY passed away on Tuesday May 4th, 2021 at Baptist Health in Madisonville, KY. She was a retired Social Worker and had worked at the KY Cabinet for Health and Family Services in Providence, KY. She was a member of the Zion Apostolic Church in Providence, KY. She loved her sons, grandchildren and great grandchildren. She was the daughter of the late Hubert Lee and Gertie Decker. She was preceded in death by a son Cosby Lee Wilson Jr. Survivors include 1 son Doug Wilson(Lesa) of Dixon, KY; 2 sisters Jerlean Basham of Hudson, KY and Edwina Clark of Big Clifty, KY; 4 grandchildren Tammy Wilson, Teri Jo Kelley(Darrin), Erin Russelburg(Perry) and Cody Wilson; 5 great grandchildren; 2 great great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
