Virginia Darlene Green 73, of Henderson, KY passed away at the Lucy Smith King Care Center in Henderson, KY on Thursday June 9, 2022. She was of the Protestant Faith, she was a licensed Beautician and owned/operated Darlene’s Hair Touch in Henderson, KY for 30 years. She loved playing Bingo and enjoyed watching game shows on TV, especially Wheel of Fortune. She was the daughter of the late William and Ollie Shelton Caldwell. She was preceded in death by 2 sons Carl William Green and Scott Allen Green and 1 step-son Daniel L. Green. Survivors include her husband of 57 years Ernest L. Green of Henderson, KY; 1 daughter Audrey M. Tapp of Henderson, KY; 4 grandchildren Madison White, Elijah White, Salem White and Legacy Tapp; 1 great granddaughter Waverly White. There will be a Memorial Gathering of family and friends at 1pm on Wednesday June 22, 2022 at Fairmont Cemetery in Henderson, KY. Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon is handling the arrangements.
