Virginia Frances Johnston 64, of Henderson, KY passed away on Thursday December 26th, 2024 at Deaconess Henderson Hospital in Henderson, KY. Virginia was of the Baptist Faith, loved spending time with her family and her dogs and was a creative artist. She loved poetry, artwork, sudoku puzzles. Virginia had a big heart and she enjoyed helping people and always had something to say to help lift someone’s spirits. She was the daughter of the late Hershel Allen Baker and Eva Frances Fulcher Powell. She was preceded in death by her sister Lucy Baker. Survivors include her husband of 20 years Mark Johnston of Henderson, KY; a daughter Crystal(Christopher) Crow of Henderson, KY; a son Edward Hickerson of Henderson, KY; a sister Carolyn Swihart(David Mooney) of Providence, KY; a brother Dale Allen(Tina) Baker of Henderson, KY; 1 granddaughter Hannah Allen of Henderson, KY and nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held on Monday December 30th, 2024 at 1pm at Townsend Funeral Home in Dixon, KY. Pastor James Hickerson will officiate. Burial will be in Grapevine Cemetery in Madisonville, KY. Visitation will be from 11am until service time on Monday at the funeral home.
